Living with a neurodivergent brain in a neurotypical world can present challenges and opportunities that are unique to each individual. As a neurodiversity coach I help clients and families navigate their own journey and help clarify areas of adaptation and accommodation. A foundation to work we embark on together draws from identity development and the meaning one ascribes to differences (grief, acceptance, celebration, etc.). Utilizing my experience in research and clinical settings, I bring a unique lens of expertise to effectively coordinate care if other treatment professionals are involved, working as a cohesive team to support thriving. As a coach, I can support clients in the following ways:

  • Executive functioning skills

  • Development and accountability with goals to help with thriving

  • Processing where neurodiversity tendencies fit within one’s identity

  • Communication and boundaries with family and loved ones

  • Coordination of care among treatment professionals

  • Identification of personal limits, needs, and growth opportunities surrounding socialization

  • College/career guidance

  • Guidance around caregiver burnout and fatigue

  • Parent coaching and education through a developmental, neurobiological based framework
